Book 2 Everyone knew the story of the Boy Who Lived. But many weren't familiar with the story of the Girl Who Knitted. Eleanor Ross knitted her way to victory, her knitted garments protected those who fought against the Dark Lord and his followers, and to think it all started with a prank. Back in their fifth year of Hogwarts, Fred and George Weasley attempted to unleash one of their pranks on the unsuspecting Hufflepuff, and when it failed, they were determined to figure out how Eleanor deflected every single one of their attempts. They discovered so much more. George discovered that knitting posed an actual threat. Fred discovered that behind the innocent knitting was a fearless badger ready to fight. Eleanor discovered that she fell in love with a boy who smelled like gunpowder and cinnamon. The war might have been over, but the adventure was far from it. *Sequel to An Unexpected Journey* She could scale the walls sharper and quicker than any savior; like rivers and ferocity: she built her silence. They asked about her wings - she built them to fight: definite lonesome, no fear, no absolution. No blackened hearts; no good-for-nothing promises. Leave a girl to face the sleet, and she'll adapt to the chill of the snow. - A.M. Adapt, Evolve, Become Tell me the story of that resourceful man who was driven to wander far and wide; that screwed-up soul who reckoned a world full of strangers. The prodigal made in and out of iron, a kind that burns and brands your skin and bones; he blunts you: do not call him by name (for he never particularily liked himself, and therefore neither his name). So you call him a moses for the new saga, the lord whose kingdom never showed. In truth: there's a man who sits about the bar, with a growl like he's got a kid at home, but there's no home anymore. The empty-souled bison-man with a God for a father - with a haunt for nephews; you collapse and you stare, and he's fallen away before the moon is gone. A promise: alcohol smells like divine hilarity; sometimes you can hear the words in your skull, when your mind is dark and you remember that people are tragedies. Dwarves are pitiful Gods. - A.M. ~ The sequel to "Daughter of Beorn" has been released! Check it out! It's called "The Skin-Changer Prophecy." ~ Gandalf looked down at the small child partially hidden behind the skin-changer's legs. Her green eyes sparkled as she tossed a small pebble at the stranger's feet before giggling. The mischevious little one then toddled off a bit to chase a butterfly that had caught her attention. "She cannot stay here." Beorn said. "It is unsafe for a child. I do not want her to... be exposed. To my other form." "You seem to forget that she is your daughter." The wizard replied, shifting as a small breeze came through the forest. "And I am not trained in the art of raising children." The two men momentarily turned their gazes back to young Kyja, who was too occupied following the winged insect. Compassion soon struck the wizard's heart. "Yet... there is someone that could care for her. He is an odd fellow, relates more to animals than any other living creature- but he is genuinely kind, and will be able to assist Kyja in the following years. Radagast the Brown is his name." And so, the journey begins. Far into adulthood, Kyja is introduced to a completely new world when Gandalf proposes an offer- to join a band of dwarves to help them save their homeland. Haunted by past memories and scars, the skin-changer is forced to come to terms with her own history while accepting the new fate she has been given. Humility, love, and sacrifice are only some of the lessons learned in: Daughter of Beorn. ~ All ideas, concepts, and plot lines pertaining to The Hobbit all belong to J.R.R. Tolkien. Nevertheless, the creation of Kyja and any additional characters not in the original piece are mine. The cover photo is not mine. ~

*This story is under editing* He was Earthly; she was Aerial. He was made of clay and iron, his mind was blood and gold; she was made of fire and dreaming, despite her shadows running cold. Two, of a different kin; their minds so devoured in hate, though thy hearts dwelling in love brighter than the sun, stronger than any metal nameable. His temper was like a bison, her silhouette was like the sea. He was a storm, whilst she was the rain, and together they will tame the elements' natural spring and create the colors across the sky. A world beyond theirs. Their souls were forged athwart the planets within ice and fire, and together they shall inherit the stars. All their darlings, death shall doom. Though, how terrible it is to love another that death can touch. Fair was she who enchanted the King. © Copyright 2013. All rights reserved. *Sequel to The Desolation of Smaug* : : Thorin buried his nails perilously within the earth, sapphires fixating on nothing but infinite dread, "Sorrow found me when I was young. Sorrow waited. Sorrow won." : : Fame. Songs. A kingdom of corpses. Their names too heavy within each other's mouths. What remains once the war is won? Shadows. Longing. Regret, regret, regret. What do we become in death? "She belongs to the future; to the winds of the west sea, and the candles in the hallway. She dances wildly with the spiders; sings with the turn of the stars, and cries amongst the earthquakes and ghostly thunderstorms - like those that sneak away in the night. She belongs to the fire; to the silver and the mist in the woods, to the snow and the silence, but not to me." © Copyright 2013. All rights reserved.
