Ugh why won’t you work,” I groaned waving my wrist in the air trying to unfreeze my watch. “Hey do you know the time,” I asked a passing stranger, he simply shook his head and continued his walk. “DUDE,” I yelled after him, “You’ve got a phone!” Running my hand through my hair I sighed heavily before turning my attention towards the paper in my hand. “Hey do you know where the park is?” Turning around I found a short figure dressed in skinny black jeans and a brown jumper looking up at me with eyebrows raised and impatience written all over his face. “Uh no I’m actually trying to find it myself,” I replied meeting his gaze. He kicked aside some trash and leaned against the wall as he threw back his hoodie. I could now see that several piercings decorated his ear, his dark eyes travelled from the paper in his hand which had the same park logo as the paper in my own hands. “This blows man,” he said crumpling up the paper and tossing it towards the trash. “Yeah now how else am I supposed to find a job,” I sighed pressing my back up against the stone wall. A smirk formed on his lips as he extended his hand out towards me, “Looks like we’re in the same trash boat. I’m Rigby.” “Mordecai,” I said shaking his hand.
