Winifred Jones grew up loving the story of Wonderland, in particular, the Cheshire Cat. Wyn also grew up being a test subject for her scientist father, only she didn't realize that's what she was at first. In order to discover the truth behind her father's experiments on her, she sneaks into his lab. She discovers she's not the only one with a fascination for the Cheshire Cat. Mr. Jones has been working on something very Cheshire-like indeed. After Wyn spills the formula on herself, she becomes the embodiment of the Cheshire Cat. Her powers, plus her prior knowledge of S.H.I.E.L.D, make her the perfect candidate for a very important initiative.
