GODS, a scientific branch of the US Department of Defense, has done it. They have genetically engineered the perfect agents. Better, faster, smarter, and stronger than regular humans, these "Gods" are the best any official could ask for. Chosen as a Knight, a champion of humanity, and the rightful wielder of the ancient blade, Gram, Chris does all he can to protect the denizens of New York City from threats they aren't even aware of. It's during a supposed vacation-slash-business meeting assigned to him by his dissociated sister however, that Chris finds out what it really means to be a Knight as he clashes with forces even more terrifying than the darkest of gods and monsters. I tried re-editing the whole thing and haven't gotten around to finishing so there will be inconsistencies (like originally, the story was set in the Rockies but in the re-edit, I've moved them to somewhere in Europe).
