[Transmigration + Long-Lost Daughter + Military Family + Eating Melons + Comedy + Face-Slapping + Family Drama + Hidden Identity + Smart MC + Slice of Life + Mind Reading + Gossip Queen] Tang Yuwei's house was surrounded by military vehicles in the morning, by the afternoon, she had become the General's long-lost daughter. Okay, that was fine. But why was her elder brother giving her a contemptuous look? Why was her stepsister constantly digging pits for her to jump into? And why was everyone acting as if she was the villain in some dog-blood family drama? Please. She had already lived through countless lifetimes. Could anyone give her a break? The very next day, Tang Yu Wei packed her things and headed straight for the market. What family affection? What inheritance battle? None of that was as interesting as fresh gossip. [Heavens! Butcher Zhang claims he loves his wife dearly, yet he's secretly hiding his private savings beneath the pigsty.] [Look at Scholar Liu acting noble and upright. Last night, he was caught climbing over Widow Wang's wall.] [Oh my! The richest merchant in town isn't raising his own son. The child actually belongs to his sworn brother!] [Oh? Madam Liu is acting dignified today. Who was the one climbing over the courtyard wall at midnight last week?] [Interesting. So Young Master Chen claims to be sick, yet he has enough energy to sneak into the teahouse every afternoon.] What kind of heavenly blessing was this? While others fought over inheritance, power, and status, she sat comfortably on a small stool, cracking sunflower seeds and enjoying one juicy melon after another. As for family disputes? Not interested. Scheming stepsister? Ignore. Cold-faced brother? Whatever. In this lifetime, Tang Yuwei had only one goal; to eat the biggest melons, watch the most entertaining drama, and enjoy life from the vvvvvseat.

The difference between Alchemy and "magic" is the fact that Alchemy has a fundamental law. And that Alchemy can be explained by pure and utter science. But that's not the point. The point is that Alchemy has a base to go by while magic is a whim. You can't predict magic, you can't create magic, you can't even explain magic. You can explain Alchemy though and that's the difference. Magic is on a whim and unexplainable. Alchemy is based, rooted, and explainable. Alchemy clearly sounds like the better option, since people like the understandable. But yet... everyone chooses magic over Alchemy. Whim over base. Unexplainable over explainable! It doesn't make sense! Yet it's what happens... I guess I have to find out why. *I do not own FMA nor Harry Potter* Cover by @Mysteriousmilkshake! Thank you so much!

Someone once asked me: if I were to be reborn one time what would I want to be? I answered, "General" Because I like it when girls are tough and yes, no need for the romance part because, in the end, guys prefer girls who need to be protected. Little did I know my wish could come true when I got run over by a car one day and woke up as an infant the next day. DISCLAIMER! NONE OF THE IMAGES I'VE USED IN THIS STORY IS MINE. Once an award-winning chef with a flourishing food empire, Elena Valdez never imagined her life would end in tragedy-or begin again in another world. Reborn as Alaina, the Duchess of Aisenburg, Elena awakens in La Vita, a realm of magic, monsters, and rigid noble traditions. Trapped in an unfamiliar body and bound to a distant, intimidating duke through marriage, Alaina must learn to survive court life where whispers cut deeper than blades and trust is a luxury few can afford. With no allies and little warmth in her new home, Alaina turns to the one thing she knows best: cooking. Infusing her dishes with care, memory, and quiet passion, she begins to soften hostile servants, disarm rival noblewomen, and slowly bring life back into the cold halls of Aisenburg estate. As shared meals replace formal silence and the scent of warm bread and simmering sauces fills the mansion, an unexpected intimacy grows between Alaina and her husband. Each dish becomes a confession, each bite a promise-pulling them closer despite secrets, danger, and unspoken desire. [ WARNING! There will be a few chapters with graphic sex scenes. I will mark them as R-18 for those that want to skip. Otherwise, read at your own risk! ] NOTE: THIS IS VOLUME 1 of "My Lady Chef" .
