The Freelance Detective Agency, despite its seemingly not so formal name is a well-known agency to some, where detectives may come and go, grabbing quick jobs from the bulletin board on the second flood. The first being a cafe, it served as a front as well as a place for detectives to relax and grab a coffee. The F.D.A situated in New York, being a popular and well known tourist area. The visitors of F.D.A. consisted of individuals from around the world, some more important than others. Despite F.D.A. being a freelance agency, it required a simple tip of $100 as a membership fee along with certified proof that the individual is a real detective. Then the individual is allowed to take any job listed on the large bulletin board that never seemed to have any empty spaces. You wouldn't have known that the board was wooden for all the pieces of paper stuck onto it. Although the members of F.D.A. were mostly freelancers as its name indicated, there are a special few who work specifically for the company. They hide behind the informal front, taking jobs that associated with the government to the underworld. And that, is the true purpose of the F.D.A. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Any depiction of HSAM, detectives, mafia etc may not be accurate-- The F.D.A. along with any shops/organzations in the story are a work of fiction, as well as characters and events, any relations are purely coincidental.
