"Lily?" he says in a soft whisper. She looks at his face, lightened only by the full moon. "What is it?" she asks with a hint of smile. He stares into the night sky, watching the stars. He stays silent for quite some time, then sighs. "I think... I mean... It's best if I just... We can't do this. I'm no good for you." For a moment, she's taken aback, but then she starts laughing. "What are you-" "I've done bad things, Lily. Things you can't even imagine and I feel horrible knowing that you care for me after everything I've..." she interrupts him with a deep kiss, which he returns after a moment of resisting. He pulls her on top of him, running his fingers through her hair and down her back. He stops suddenly, pushing her off. She hits her elbow on the hard stony floor and she cries out in pain. "I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you, are you alright?" She looks up at him, thinking whatever has gone wrong between them. Was it her? Has she done something to push him away? "What have I ever done to you?" she whispers in hurt. "Nothing. It's all my fault for being an idiot." She opens her mouth to speak, but she suddenly hears footsteps on the staircase. Scorpius turns towards her, his silver eyes widened in fear. "Go. Hide. Now!"
