When Christmas comes to the sleepy town of Hillbury, so does a love letter for Holly Ambrose - a love letter from a secret admirer. Amidst the yuletide balls and Christmas cheer of Victorian England, Holly vows to uncover the source of the letter, but will the self-avowed intellectual fall in love in the process? This Yuletide novella is twelve chapters long, with a chapter posted each day until Christmas beginning on Sunday the 14th. It's just a little christmas present to all my wonderful Wattpad friends.

When Elle was just a little girl, her aunt told her about this great trip through Europe she had once gone on. And so, years later, an eighteen-year-old Elle decides to go on the same trip. But hers doesn’t go nearly as smoothly as her aunt’s. And so, completely disappointed and even more heartbroken than before, Elle decides to go back home. But then her plane has to stop in a little town in the middle of nowhere during the biggest snowstorm of the decade. And so the adventures she had been hoping for and the love she hadn't really expected to find are thrust upon her, in the form of trying to find a place to stay in a town flooded with angry tourists, a crazy set of weird characters that offer their help, and an overly sarcastic yet amiable boy that doesn’t seem like anyone Elle has ever met before.

In which there is a debate between an optimist and a pessimist. If you don't know what either means, don't be embarrassed. An optimist always thinks that the world is full of hope. The pessimist will just shake his head and say, "Nope". So do you think it's right to believe everything is great every day? Or see that everything is more worse than the next in every single way? A poem submitted for the Everything is Awesome Scholarship Slam 2015.
