"The voices." He simply said. "Voices? In your head?" I asked remembering he's schizophrenic. "Yeah. They tear me down, they rip me apart. They've hurt me more than any human. They told me that everyone will eventually let me down. No one's worth it." "That's not true." I said putting my hand on my shoulder. "Yes it is." He said turning to face me. "Everyone leaves. Everyone betrays. It's what humans do." "I won't do that." I said. "You can count on me. We can be friends. We can be really close, amazing friends!" "You're a liar!" He said looking at me with disgust. "Dude, I'm not. You barely know me! Can you give me a chance?" "Chance." He mummbled softly. "A chance?" "Yes. Just one." "Okay." He said. "I'm sorry, it got the best of me." "It's okay. Everything's fine." I said, my hand still on his shoulder. He looked down at my hand, then to my eyes. His eyes were dark and full of mystery. I couldn't read them, he just looked lost. Lost in the sky, with billions of stars. I could see the stars in his eyes. [SEQUEL TO I DON'T LIKE BADBOYS...SERIOUSLY. I recommend that you read that first, but this can be read alone, it'll just be missing some things.] Recoiling from heart break, Sophie goes on a series of escapades with her bad boy saviour, only to fall for him. The problem? He's as cold as ice and still hung up on a girl from his old high school (who, to make matters worse, attends the same university) and Sophie isn't exactly his type. However, Sophie has decided. She's chasing the bad boy. --- Ace has dealt with his fair share of annoying people -cough, Hunter, cough - but Sophie grinds his gears in a whole new way. Surprisingly naïve and sensitive, she struggles to keep her emotions in check, but the underlying sincerity in her obnoxious actions is what irks him the most. Like a fly buzzing around near your ear. But in his brain. And maybe in his heart. --- "You're not my type," he said bluntly. "What makes you say that?" She shot back, offended. "Well, for one, if you were, you wouldn't be standing here right now. Two, you wouldn't have asked that question." "How about if I change your mind?"

[SEQUEL TO I DON'T LIKE BADBOYS...SERIOUSLY. I recommend that you read that first, because major spoilage alert, but who am I to tell you what to do?] For socially awkward Cathy, talking to boys is a challenge, let alone dating the bad boy. Having finished high school without successfully working out how to kiss, the relationship is guaranteed to be an awkward one. With them taking separate paths and meeting new people, the differences between them become even more obvious, and the tightrope they've been balancing on is starting to sway. --- "So, are you going to tell me why you're giving me seventeen apples?" I mumbled, lifting the bag slightly to examine the red apples. "An apple a day keeps the doctor away," he beamed proudly. "He's not a doctor yet." "Same thing." "I'm going away for fourteen days. Why seventeen?" "Well, this guy seems particularly persistent, so I'm going to give you three extra apples to really keep him away."

"I told you Colton. I don't like bad boys." "All I need is seven days Janey, I can make you fall in love with me in a week." "And if you don't?" I asked. He looked me over, busting out his million dollar smirk. "I will." Copyright © 2014 IziKing. All rights reserved.

There were never words to describe the feelings I had for him. I fell for him early in life way too long ago to remember, but the question is did he fall for me to? I heard that those typical popular girls stole his heart and that he doesn't trust anymore. Maybe I can find the missing pieces from his heart and put them back together again. * please give this story a try I promise you will enjoy it *
