Ganondorf falls with her but through Dark Magic splits his essence into four spheres of energy. Two of the spheres continue with Nyx and her companion wolf but two others find their way back to Hyrule, waiting to reunite with the others to form his most notorious reincarnation, Ganon. Nyx has lost her memories though and her old power lies dormant beneath the surface of her being.
