A new princess enrolled at Royal Prep and when she gazed eyes at Hugo, she was in love. There was going to be a Royal Ball at Royal Prepand the new princess asked Hugo to be his date. But Hugo said that his date will be his best friend, Sofia. The new princess was jealous of Sofia when they danced in the ball that she wanted to do something bad. She decided to cast a spell on Hugo that he won't remember Sofia dancing with him. Hugo won't even remember that he was Sofia's best friend. All Hugo will remember is that he was in love with the new princess. Will there ever be a way Sofia will get her best friend back?

This takes place right after the episode "The Flying Crown". There's going to be a county fair coming to Royal Prep, and Amber, Hildegard, and Clio are really excited. Since Sofia and Hugo are going to participate in the county fair's flying derby race, the trio invites them to join the fun. However, Sofia and Hugo have to save their energy for the race, so Hugo decides to teach Sofia how to play guitar. Amber, Hildegard, and Clio become jealous of Sofia and fear that Hugo likes her more.

After learning that Prince Hugo's big brother, Axel, calls him "Baby Bro", Sofia's friends decide to give each other fun nicknames. Everyone is having fun except for Sofia, whom Amber insists on referring to as "Grape". She doesn't even realize that Sofia's feelings are hurt. A new school year at Royal Prep has just started, and there's a new school nurse named Lady Melody. But Sofia overhears her friends say that Lady Melody is really a wicked witch who poisons her patients with potions. When Sofia gets a cold and Prince Hugo injures his arm, they're both sent to see Lady Melody. Is she really a wicked witch? Or is she just a new friend Sofia and Hugo have yet to make?

Sofia and her family are joining Prince Hugo and his family for their royal jubilee. Hugo's older brother, Axel, has reunited with Prince Roderick of Corona, an old friend from Royal Prep. Roderick is so fond of Hugo that he gives him a special dragonfly pin. But shortly afterwards, Hugo keeps getting a weird tummy ache that comes and goes. When Hugo is sent to bed, Sofia and Axel realize that the pin Roderick gave Hugo was making him sick. It turns out that it's the Pin of Achenheimer, a magically cursed pin that curses its bearer with intolerable pain in the stomach, and Roderick gave it to Hugo on purpose! Why would Roderick do such a thing?

Princess Adara has recently transferred to Royal Prep, and she's taken an instant liking to Prince Hugo. But every time Sofia comes around, Hugo starts paying attention to her instead, which is enough for Adara to notice the spark between them. Since Hugo and Sofia are going to be in an ice-dancing competition, they'll be spending even more time getting ready. Adara becomes jealous of Sofia and does everything she can to make her look bad in front of Hugo. Will she go too far?

Sofia wants to play with James, but James is more interested in spending time alone. Since Prince Hugo doesn't know what it's like to be the older brother, James asks him to be Sofia's big brother, so he can have time for what he wants to do. However, Hugo seems to enjoy being a big brother, and Sofia is having a lot of fun being his little sister. James becomes jealous of Hugo as Sofia treats him a lot like a big brother. After learning that Hugo is afraid of snakes, James plays a bad prank on him at school, which starts an uproar on campus!

Princesses Amber, Clio, and Hildegard have no idea what to write in their diaries. Then they notice that Sofia has been acting differently, and they sense that she's in love. Jealous of her sister's crush, Amber decides to come between them. She tries to make Hugo jealous by flirting with Prince Desmond, and she tries to make Sofia jealous by flirting with Hugo.
