Amelia felt like this until one night at a bar in Las Vegas two men ask her to join their cause in tracking down an ex-Nazi doctor, who wishes to cause the out break of world war three. So who wouldn't jump at the chance of being with your own kind, saving the world and maybe even catch a date with a hot German? Being institutionalised was the answer to Margo Barrett's parent's prayers. Only, the last thing they expected was for her to escape and to eventually cross paths with people who were similar to herself.

Being a performer in some backwater travelling show is a life of hardship, pain and unhappiness. Not liking the fact that her powers caused her heartbreak in the past, and set her on course to further displeasure, Elsie is naturally sceptical when two strangers come to her asking for aid. Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr have a task to do, create their own mutant army to stop the one which Sebastian Shaw has already amassed. Only the ideals of such a thing are not as easy to set into motion as they first thought. Throw in disruptive teens, clashing powers, signs of affection and reluctance from some, there might be a small slim chance for success. The ideals and thoughts of what happens after is something which dwells on all who are involved minds. Only peace and quiet can only last so long until it is ripped away. Imprisonment, prison breaks, new comrades and new mutant threats come to light, and the small slim chance for success shines through again.

Isabelle Sandreas has been able to control time ever since she could remember. After being on the run for a few years, she met Erik Lehnsherr and decided to team up with him in trying to kill a guy named Shaw. They soon fell in love and did everything together. That is until they eventually met other mutants like themselves and even an old friend along the way. This adventure takes place during the early 60's. (Dislaimer: I don't own any of the X-Men franchise or its characters. Also, this is my first X-men fanfiction so sorry if it's not amazing)

Amidst such hardship and tragedy, it was unlikely that Erik Lensherr would've expected to come across anyone remotely like himself during one of the world's darkest times. Yet this is where he met Liesel Jäger, another unlikely discovery made by Sebastian Shaw. Being different could just get them through this, yet what happens afterwards? With Shaw on the run, it becomes apparent that Erik is determined to find him, while Liesel is uncertain. Perhaps with sudden recruiting she may just be swayed to joining in with stopping the madman from starting another world war. But once this is done and finished with...what then? New trouble arises, old friends return, and new ones appear. A peaceful simple life is all that Liesel had every really wanted, shame that it is the complete opposite to what Erik wishes for.
