Alessandra Lindell has been pampered and treated like a princess her entire life. She lives in the wealthiest part of town, she attends a private school, she always looks perfect, she's got the star of her school's basketball team to call her boyfriend, and never once does she not get her way. One day, she ends up doing the unthinkable. She is forced to take the bus home because neither of her stuck up, manipulative parents could pick her up from the mall that she felt was absolutely necessary to go to. Ending up in the slum due to the fact that she had gotten lost, she doesn't have the first clue of what to do. She had never been there before because it was frowned upon for someone like her to be anywhere near it. After wandering around aimlessly for about an hour, it began to get dark. She accidentally finds herself conversing with a boy about her age only to find out he attends the dreaded public school across the street from her own. He talks to her and acts as if they aren't from completely different worlds, which they are. They both knew that. While she was quiet and controlled, he was a fighter. In time, Alessandra will fall for the boy that she least expected herself to. Stereotypes and pure hatred surround them at all times, making it more than just difficult to be together. Everybody has a limit.

4 MONTHS LATER. Four months. Four months had gone by since I left. I haven't heard anything from him. I have yet to bring myself to say his name for I had no idea what it would do to me emotionally. I don’t have contact with him. Who knew where he was or what he was doing. Not one single text, phone call, or email was shared between us. Who knew if he even had the same phone number? I didn't want to find out. But then again I did. He needed to know what was going on with me. He deserved to know, even if he wasn't a part of my life anymore. I’m sure they knew it as well, but they just want to believe it as badly as I do. But between you and me, the truth was, oddly enough, I did miss him and I did in fact, care. But I’m sure he’s moved on by now. As I should too but for some reason, I can’t bring myself to forget the person that I had fallen madly in love with, just to watch it all crumble in a heap at my feet. Austin Mahone and Brookelle Redfern have been though a lot. And since they're in love, they will put up with anything the other does. But it seems as though Brookelle has had enough of Austin's actions. When she finally realizes what's best for her, she moves back home with her parents and her twin siblings, Scarlett and Carter.
