He stood quietly a moment longer, his tongue playing with his lip ring. My stomach dropped. He licked his bottom lip and I could barely concentrate on normal social behavior. I was a nervous, flustered mess and I was so embarrassed. It was hard to rip my gaze away from his distracting mouth but when my eyes finally met his gaze, he started speaking. His husky, deep voice seduced me and I closed my eyes for a long second. I took a deep rattled breath and gratefully felt my head clearing. I was still way too warm for comfort. This is ridiculous, get ahold of yourself woman!
"I'm sorry, what?" I ask. I hadn't actually attached meaning to a single word he had said. When I opened my eyes, I saw his lips turn up at their corners in a knowing smirk. He raises one arched eyebrow. "Long week" I simply say, hoping he couldn't see how clearly bothered I was by this stranger's mere presence.
His smirk widens briefly before it's gone. He regains his slight smirk, and smoothly replies "So I thought, now that we've been undressed together and you've fallen for me- literally- that I should at least ask your name."
