Aliya was sitting on bed...faced was covered with veil her heart was faster she was nervous..itz her first wedding nite waiting for Adil.. Adil is love of her life...Adil enter the room he step towards Aliyaa... Aliyaa heard foot steps coming towards her she hold her hands tight ..heart beat was on.marathon..but she think she was lucky girl... Adil Goes near her..Open her veil harshly and hold her wrist pull her out of bed dragged her and throw her on floor...You are a not my wife you get that..he say...!! The winner of TweetYourStoryIndia component of #YourStoryIndia contest :) A poem that I felt compelled to write. In this poem I tried to show the emotions of a girl fetus who was killed in the womb. Questions that she asked to herself and to her mother. The reason behind this poem is to spread awareness that even though the fetus is in the womb, but still, it's a life. A breathing entity that has equal right to live, right to come in this world and experience it. A life we all should cherish and not kill.
