Victor October is a teenager with a rare hobby: homicide. His adoptive mother Sylvie, stumbles upon this interesting hobby him one day wielding a bloodied farming scythe in their living room. Sylvie ends up becoming the mastermind behind Victor's façade as a regular seventeen year old boy. However recent deaths have put the police on high alert. Julian Summers and Elizabeth White are on the case of these homicides, ruling out coincidence and ruling in that there is a serial killer in their city. The killer seems very skilled and very experienced in their work. But who? Victor's mere months away turning eighteen, and to completely disappear. But a high school girl catches his eye. Sylvie's worried about their cover, and Victor is getting attached. Victor goes lengths to make the kill, but when will it be enough?
