Caressa was always the outcast. She was unpopular, unliked, bullied, and to top it all off, she was now the freak who's dad just got murdered. But, her boring, unexcited life is about to take a very unexpected turn. On her way home from the reading of her father's will, the phone her dad left for her buzzes and she is shocked to find out that it is in fact her dad texting her......from inside the phone! Her dad has stayed in the phone to warn Caressa and be next to her in her time of need. The murderer that killed Caressa's father is going after her and her loved ones next! Questions are appearing all over: Why is he going after her? Why did he kill her father in the first place? Will Caressa escape her pursuer and still protect everyone she cares about? When Giavanna moves from Nebraska to Ohio, she can't believe what she's looking at. She is now living in an old, VERY out of date house and she doesn't know if her life could get any worse then this. But when she finds a painting, her bracelet oddly burns the closer she gets to a butterfly in it. Her new friends and her realize that this painting (and Giavanna) are not what they seem to be.
