Ellie has been not-quite-flirting with her housemate’s friend Mia, and not really thinking too much about it, until one day Mia offers to follow through on the flirting. Ellie is surprised, but decides she’d like to try, and slowly a relationship begins to evolve. Mostly a physical relationship, and a confused relationship, but it seems to work for both of them. Um, oops, so I forgot to change this part. I'm sorry! So this is finished for now, but might come back later, and sorry if that seems to be kind of teasey. Because, erm, well, it is… And also, so this is now made into ebooks, which are now on Amazon and Smashwords and other places. And as paper on Amazon. Should anyone care about that, because if you're reading this right now you've probably realized you can read it on Wattpad... so um, yeah. That doesn't quite make sense... But! Just to be clear, all the words are exactly the same, there's no difference or anything, so don't think it's been edited or something. And just to be confusing they’re called Touching Mia and Tasting Mia, because it all went a long way away from being about housemates, really. And two books, because this got really long. So anyway... Touching Mia - http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00I3OWFWG Tasting Mia - http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00I3J93EY And thank you for looking! And thank you to everyone who's reading it, I'm incredibly grateful! And I hope you enjoy! That's all.

[#WATTYS2018 LONGLIST] On Earth, a conspiracy theorist stumbles across the wreckage of a spacecraft. There are two corpses in strange uniforms. One is an alien - the other is not. In space, a young human agent watches in horror as the images are beamed around the world, putting the entire project to integrate humanity into the Commonwealth of Orion at risk. And across the darkness between stars, an alien armada gathers its forces, and aims them right at Earth. Deep in a cave on a remote island lies the key to everything; a small beacon containing the directions to the Hub, the crossroads of the Commonwealth. If the aliens find it and use it to access the Commonwealth's complex network of Starbridges linking its worlds together, the rest of the galaxy will be at their fingertips. Only one person knows where the beacon lies... ...for now.

Less than five months ago, lights appeared in the sky. Days later the ships started to arrive. They call themselves the Consortium. They are human, or at least Simian, descending from the same genetic line as humans. They terraformed this planet centuries ago, sent settlers a mere forty thousand years ago. Now they are back, ready to begin the exploration of this galaxy. For Cheyenne Walker, Chief Petty Officer aboard the Cambridge, a USS destroyer, the arrival of the Consortium is just one more obstacle to finishing her final tour of duty and getting home to her kids. The political upheaval forces the US into an uneasy alliance with the Consortium against China, and puts the Cambridge on the edge of a nuclear blast. Cheyenne wakes to find herself aboard the Corelean, a Consortium Medical Evacuation ship. Floating in a medi-tank, she wonders if they really can't repair the wreck of her body, whether these newcomers are friends or foes and most importantly, will she ever make it back to children?

"Who would you live for? Who would you die for? . . . And would you ever kill?" Some people are just born with tragedy in their blood. Dorienne and her best friends definitely fall into that category, and have spend much of their lives recovering from surviving. When someone dares to hurt those they love, the gifted teens commit an untraceable act of vengeance and justice. But the harm has already been done, and in the aftermath they lose one of their own, leaving them reeling. Now in their early twenties, they find themselves shakily rising once more. New friends bring some much-needed happiness into their lives, as well as unexpected romance . . . even as love forms new ties within the group. Maybe there can be life after loss, however different it may be. "Okay, I know that there are terrible, terrible people out there, but listen. I also know that there are people who stop and stare at tiny plants growing out of sidewalk cracks, people who laugh so loud they snort, people who compliment others randomly, people who take pictures of their friends because they love seeing their friends happy, people who ramble about things that they're passionate about, people who blush and stutter, people who are kind, people who are warm, people who love and love and love and love." -Anonymous

Climbing is life for Adelaide Walker and Reed Vaëa . . . at least, during the times they're actually together. For that's the problem with their relationship (other than the fact that it's completely platonic): Reed disappears for months at a time, and will not or cannot tell her why. Addy is otherwise happy with her introverted life. Few people even know of her existence; among them her alcoholic best friend, Bella, and unfortunately Reed's vengeful and mentally unstable half-sister. When the day finally comes that Addy is let into Reed's secret life, the truth is far greater than anything she could have imagined. She becomes part of a diverse group whose uniquely skilled members are caught in a deadly game, one where it's not always clear who is friend and who is foe. But good will at times prevail, and love can often be found along the way.
