"I find it ironic that we, as humans, are attracted to fortune and fame. I've always wondered what it's like to live in poverty, in hunger, in pain. We, the people of today, are obsessed with things. I wonder what it would be like to be obsessed with values, or with personalities. I wonder what it would be like to be obsessed with God. I guess it's only a matter of time until I find out." Sabrina Palmer is on top. As a high-class editor in the fashionable New York City, NY, she has everything that she could ever need. So, when her boss comes to her, telling her that she needs to find a new approach to her writing and editing, Sabrina is dumbstruck. Luckily for her, her friend Max is living in India, and he invites her there for a week to learn about the ways of the people and to possibly write a story on them. While there, Sabrina is shocked at the things she learns;she's shocked at the things she never knew before. She decides to stay for an extra week, and then another week, until she realizes she doesn't want to go back to New York. She wants to stay in India until she learns how to find God, until she can learn to pray. Follow Sabrina as she travels to India, China, Ethiopia, and beyond, and watch as she connects with people throughout the world. And maybe when she meets you, she'll teach you what she learned. She'll teach you to pray.

..."Listen and listen well to this song. For the tale I tell, you my not remember for long, Deep into the the forest you shall find The tale of the Spirit of the Forest, but keep in mind They say it's a lie and dearest child, So many people have tried so hard To uncover the secret that lies down deep Where the trees speak and mystical creatures creep. So hearken, for if you need know the way, the code is hard to crack But careful, dearest child, for many who made the journey never came back..."

If you're judging this book by its cover and title, you're already proving the point this story wants to make. Try to move past this satirical obstacle in front of you. This is a story about bullying, and like the hundreds of other books on the topic, it will show you the harsh reality of being discriminated, belittled, ridiculed for something you cannot control- how you look, who you love, or what you believe in. But unlike these books, this story's sole purpose is not to tear your heart out of your chest as you mourn over your loss of faith in humanity. Instead, this book will make you laugh and love alongside these characters. Just like in life, there will be moments of dread and surrender, but there will also be moments of happiness, laughter, and love. - Naomi Lorraine, better known as Nerdy Naomi with her thick-rimmed glasses and straight-A report card, is the most unpopular girl in her school. Even with the help of her sarcastic comebacks, that doesn't stop her from getting bullied by everyone in Dartwell High. Every day her childhood bully, Raymond Meyers, knocks her off her feet, literally. However, she can't do anything but survive the laughs, insults, and bruises high school gives her. There are three senior transfer students, dubbed the Three Musketeers: Bennett Frazier, Jordan Wallace, and Declan Lynch. All in one day, Naomi catches their attention one by one. With her snarky attitude, but innocent look, they can't help but want her. But not the way you're thinking. Oh no, not like that. Instead, it's probably the whole opposite. It's quite simple really. She'll be their good girl. And they'll be her bad boys. ~ [This story is a first draft written by a 13 to 15-year-old girl so it has its fair share of grammar mistakes and plot holes.] Wattys 2015 Talk of the Town Award Second Place Story of 2015 Best Humor and Overall Points of The Fiction Awards 2016 Third in the Writers Awards 2016 Highest Ranks: #1 Humor, #1 Teen Fiction

Updating Fridays and Sundays, Kingdom's Fall is a fantasy adventure set in a world where heroes find themselves pitted against an ancient and powerful magic. Kara has lived her whole life trapped under the roof of her father's inn. She longs for adventure, but there is little to be found in a backwater village: at least until Aiden Baird arrives. Noble, rogue, and spy - Aiden Baird is the most notorious man in the Kingdom. Or he would be, if he could remember who he is... Cuan has lived his entire life as the garrison brat, surrounded by soldiers. Unwanted and ignored, he travels north in the service of the one man he looks up to: Gray, the garrison captain. But Captain Gray has concerns of his own. It has been fifteen years since he last saw the King, and they did not part on good terms. Something dark is growing in the Kingdom. Trade from the south has choked to a standstill, and the air over the marshes hangs heavy with the threat of war. In the north the sea-wall, the ancient defence that protects the coastline, is crumbling. The people look to their lords for guidance, and the lords look to their King. King Varion has little time for their concerns. His daughter has been kidnapped by a priest-cult who intend to sacrifice her and summon an ancient power into the world. Faced with an enemy beyond human understanding, there is only one conclusion. In order to save their people, the Kingdom must fall.
