He picks me up and carries me to his car, strapping me in. He runs around to his side and takes me home. "Sorry." He says. I don't answer, but I try to open my door, locked. He sighs, and unlocks it. I can feel his eyes watch me up the driveway. I hear him run up behind me to my front steps. He follows me upstairs. I lay down in bed and feel the mattress sink next to me. His arms carefully snake around my waist before he softly kisses my hair. "I'm sorry I hit you, and I'm sorry I lost it. Just," He stops, sucking in a breath. "Please. Don't give up on me, yet."
