Susan's father has been offered a better job very far from where they live. Susan's older sister, Heather has been crying since she found out. Susan's very upset to leave her friends, but she has no choice. In their new house they discover very old newspaper articles about different murders, and realise that a murderer died in this house and so have many others. At night the noises are unbearable, but no one other than Susan seem to hear them. Susan must prove to her family that she's not just making it all up so she can go back to her friends. But how?
