When Remus, the last of the infamous Marauders, is killed in the Battle of Hogwarts, he is shocked at what, and more importantly, who, he finds beyond the grave.

Unlike the other Gryffindors, Remus has a secret--a secret that could get him kicked out of Hogwarts, for good. He had tried to distance himself from people, to protect them more than himself, but he'd found himself attracted to a rowdy duo, who had already taken another shy boy under their wing. The four had quickly become friends. Now, those three friends are beginning to question Remus's frequent disappearances and the newly formed gashes he often came back with. Remus has told them lie after lie, and now he has no more to tell. The Marauders find a spell in their 6th year at Hogwarts that brings them to the future. Eighteen years into the future to be exact, the year Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger are starting their 4th year, and the year Voldemort is set to return to power. Things never settle for anyone, especially if they are a wizard. James, Sirius, Remus and Peter all come back to Hogwarts, a school unlike any others, for their fifth year. But of course, none of their previous years would measure up to the fifth. New responsibilities, a werewolf hunter in the grounds, a lovely girl and her not-so-lovely, clingy sister, being spied on wherever they go, Lily being difficult and on top of all that, the Marauders will have to study (hard) for their O.W.L.s that will determine their future.
