I figured I wouldn’t get a reply and closed my eyes only to have a quiet voice disturb my peace. “Please don’t leave,” He whispered. I opened my eyes and looked at him. His eyes were closed but it felt like he was staring into my soul. “I can’t make any promises. I have friends back home waiting for me Josh” “This is your home Mads,” He said, eyes opening again. “You can’t leave me again” “Josh what we had was amazing but I can’t give up my life in Florida for something that might not even exist anymore. I’m sorry,” Josh sighed and ran a hand through his messy hair. “I love you Mads,” He whispered, pulling me to his chest. I felt my eyes water, I knew I was breaking his heart by saying I couldn’t stay but I really couldn’t. Vancouver wasn’t my home anymore; I didn’t belong here. Just saying, if you haven't read Desperate Measures you might wanna do that or else most of this will not make sense.

I was twenty-one and living a life I thought only would happen in my dreams. Since June 8, I've been touring America with my favorite band, Marianas Trench, as their professional photographer with my best friend and fellow "Trencher", Lily. Marianas Trench is a Canadian band who I am obsessed with. Josh Ramsay does guitar/ lead vocals, Matt Webb does lead guitar/ vocals, Mike Ayley does bass/ vocals, and Ian Casselman does drums/ vocals. A/N: I am not good at writing introductions. However this is close enough :). I would say I'll try to keep it PG-13 but knowing my writing that probably won't happen.

Love. It was something Matt Webb, the guitarist of a band called Marianas Trench, never wanted. Since high school, he tried his best to stay away from commited relationships. He didn't want to experience that feeling called love. One phone call, that's all it took to spin Matt's life into an unexpected turn. This phone call happened to get this young man into a car accident, thus, meeting a young girl by the name of Avery Giddings. Seems like the most typical and cliche love story ever, right? Meeting the girl of your dreams in the rain, looking into her eyes, falling in love and saying "I love you," millions of times. Thus, changing the man who never wanted to love. Wrong. Lost, ignored, judged, and disenchanted, Avery isn't one for trusting people. Her gut tells her to never trust men, not even one who seemed as sweet as Matt. No one could be trusted. Like Matt, Avery never wanted love. But the two young adults learn a thing or two from one another. Avery learns that not everyone is as bad as they seem and Matt, he learns that you don't always have to use your words to say how you feel. Sometimes, you just don't have to say anything. Not a word.

Marcel is almost like your average girl. She is a graduated Art major and currently works at Starbucks as well as at a local youth center teaching art classes. She lives in Vancouver with her best friend, Aubi. She lives this life day to day, that is, until she meets him. Him being Joshua Keeler Ramsay of Marianas Trench. He's got blue bangs and is terribly charming. The second she laid eyes on him, he ruffled her feathers and the sarcasm flowed from there. Josh Ramsay was an arrogant, full-of-himself asshole. But, after running into him one day, she has a decent conversation with him. Hm, maybe he isn't so bad after all. Meanwhile, Josh had everything going for him: good looks, an amazing band, parties, you name it, he had it. He's a very confident person. Then, he meets her. Her being a girl in art school working at Starbucks. They didn't get along, not at all actually. It wasn't until he ran into her and they had a civilized conversation that they began to get along. This is their story, their memoir coming from their own views on how they met three years ago.

Emma was just another Trencher until she took a chance and moved to Vancouver. It wasn't too long after that she bumped into Josh Ramsay and everything changed. I do not own any bands or brands mentioned in this story. Just the plot.
