Jennie and Jisoo Kim, a couple in a stagnating marriage, live a deceptively mundane existence. However, each has been hiding a secret from the other: they are assassins working for competing agencies.

For a multi-millionaire contemporary artist like Jennie, her long-time girlfriend and pianist prodigy, Park Chaeyoung, is art beyond its form. A typical masterpiece that an artist always fall in love with, and so she did - for three years. But suddenly she lost her in a car crash, and everything felt broken. Living life after Chaeyoung was like suffering from another heartbreak not until fate decided to foreplay. One day, Jennie wakes up in the same city but in a different timeframe. She was living her past life in the 60s where a city photographer, Lisa, claims to be her secret girlfriend. Then she meets the love of her life again. Chaeyoung was still so beautiful and young, but she was a different person with a different life. Life that didn't include Jennie. Will the renaissance of their romance give them a chance to change their fate or will this Lisa change the game?

"Do you want me to show it to you or would you rather I'll tell you a story?" Jennie asked playfully. Lisa contemplated for a moment. She was absentmindedly chewing the walls of her mouth. "How about we make a deal?" she asked. "Tell me a story, and if it's a good enough story, I will show you something. What say you, Jennie Kim?" Jennie raised a brow and asked, "Why do I feel like you're patronizing me the way you're saying my name right now?" "So, it's not a deal then?" Lisa replied, looking smug. But a shadow of a smirk was hinting on the corner of her mouth. "Fine. Deal," Jennie said.

Years after Blackpink disbanded, Lisa Manoban is unwittingly introduced to Jennie Kim in a small underground music event the latter was curating in Bobigny, about 15 kms away from the heart of Paris.
