*May be triggering; I love you* I love these. These are simultaneously a big part of my life and my biggest secret I guess haha. They give me a feeling of community, like I'm not alone. These books make me happy, isn't that odd? But they do. And now I'm full of all this quote-worthy material, and I wanna share it with y'all. I'm just gonna say that I take NO CREDIT FOR ANYTHING IN THIS BECAUSE THE THINGS IN MY HEAD PROBABLY AREN'T ACTUALLY MINE K? If you have anything you want in this, or ever want to talk; about anything *pretend 'anything' is in italics*; just tap the little envelope :) Here goes...

NOTE: I am not planning on continuing this story, but I'm leaving it up because it's one of my very first long stories and I did come a long way since writing this. If you're still interested in reading it despite it being discontinued then feel free to read on, though I promise you, you won't be happy about that cliffhanger XD Description "The music melted into me, swirled around me until there was no one left but me and her. Just the two of us, all alone, and together we waltzed off into space. We were dancing in a pool of melodies. I could almost feel her fingers tracing my cheeks. Then she began to fade. I didn't want it to end, but her music slipped away just as quickly as it had begun. I desperately clung onto the echoes of the last note until it was too far away to reach. BOOM! Just before the lights went off I glimpsed the ceiling break down and fall right on top of my first love, crushing all my dreams and hopes along with it. Chaos took over the place like a boss." Caleb falls in love with a beautiful pianist, but little does he know how different she is. Oh, and did I mention that the number of people who are trying to kill her are countless? You've heard of Were-wolves right? Vampires, Pixies, witches and wizards. Maybe even read a few on Were-beasts, you know the wide spectrum of furry people, sorry people that turn furry or feathery. But have you ever heard of the opposite? Sybelle Vertigo has a soft spot for animals, especially those cruelly mistreated stray black cats. she scoffs at the old folktales of Witches Familiars, or the urban myths that they bring bad luck. She thinks those people are to stupid to understand. When she finds a poor abandoned black cat on a rainy day, it will change her life. Sybelle is going to realize how small her world has been up to that moment. But her kind nature may be her undoing in a world where everybody is her enemy and her only friend is a not so simple Black cat.

“Who am I?” The middle aged couple who claimed to be my parents gaped at me when I uttered those three words. They exchanged worried glances, and communicated through vague facial expressions I couldn’t decipher. “Sweetie, are you sure you don’t remember anything?” the woman who I assumed to be my mother asked. I shook my head. “Well, it’s alright,” my father spoke, “You’re awake now and that’s all that matters to us.” My mother squeezed my hand, forcing a smile, “We love you, Kayla.” “Kayla.” I rolled my tongue over the name, tasting it, hoping it would trigger a memory. “Kayla.” This is a story for the #Visible July 2015 contest.
