Jackson. I saw the emotion in their eyes when they spoke of him. I was only five, but I was far from unnoticing, and it just made me all the more curious. I would spend the next 13 years putting together the pieces of the puzzle; a puzzle my "parents" never wanted me to solve. And it led me here: To this hard bed, in a cheap motel with annoying as shit Christmas lights flickering through the holes in the curtains. Twenty three dollars in my pocket, my bike on E and 40 miles to go. I know who you are now and what you did. I love you, Dad. And I'm coming home. ((Slow updates))

An Eagles Songfic Novella: Based on the song "Life in the Fast Lane" by the Eagles. No knowledge of the music required to enjoy the story. ~*~*~*~ Rhys Cox was the text-book definition of a "bad boy". He lived his life according to his rules and no one elses, and that was exactly the way he liked it. Enter beautiful Heiress Bianca Ferrell. Bianca has a secret that she shares with Rhys after a night of passion, which leads to a business opportunity that Rhys would be a fool to turn down. With the promise of money on the horizon, Rhys does as Bianca asks. During the course of their "partnership", Rhys feels himself falling for the one woman he will never be able to keep...But that was life--In the fast lane. (Excerpt...) "You're disgusting. You know that?" "Didn't seem to mind when I had you screaming my name, sweetheart." The girl tore her eyes away from Rhys and looked into the face of Bianca. "If you had any sense, you would run as far away from this man as possible. He's nothing but a rude, ruthless, good for nothing, cruel man." Rhys rolled his eyes and walked from the darkened alley way and up to Bianca's side. "What do you say, Ms. Ferrell?" Rhys asked as he ran his tongue over his lips and grinned seductively at her. "You got any sense?" Bianca smiled and bit her bottom lip. "Not a lick." Rhys chuckled and took her hand, continuing to lead her to his apartment, but not before turning his head briefly to wink at the couple he left behind... ((Slow updates..)) William's group stood silently, staring up at the large skyscraper that loomed before them. How they hadn't seen it through everything was beyond them. It was massive, and they could see the faint glow of lights through the large glass windows. Twelve foot walls encircled the perimeter. Guards perched on top of them, but they didn't notice Will and his group yet, too busy joking with each other. Will stepped forward, putting his family protectively behind him, before calling out. "Excuse me, gentlemen," he yelled. The men on the wall turned to him, guns raised. Will and everyone else held up their hands in surrender. "We don't want any trouble. We're here to help," Will explained. The soldiers lowered their guns and pulled a lever, opening the gates to them. "That's all we needed to hear," one man said, smiling at them. "Keep your weapons, but don't try any funny stuff, because we have no problems putting you down if need be." The group nodded, completely understanding their reasoning as they walked hesitantly through the gates. "Welcome to Home Unit 15," a grounded soldier said, reaching out and shaking Wills hand, sensing that he was their leader. "I hope ya'll will like it here." **Complete. Currently Editing**

Previously titled: Juliet & Crash (Currently working on second edit and revisement) Blanche Washington has lived a life that most would be envious of. At almost 16, she could speak four different languages, was used to having an array of staff catering to her every whim, and had traveled the world in its entirety. After her parent's are arrested and sent to prison, Blanche has no choice but to move in with her ailing Gran as the only alternative to foster care. While caring for Gran is hard work, Blanche is grateful to escape the system and willing to do anything to keep Gran as her sole guardian. Even if it means going to the one place Blanche had never been: High School. Lucas White, on the outside, appears to be the average high school all-star. The girls want to be with him, the guys want to be friends with him, and the football scouts want to recruit him. But what is it that Luke wants? Can it possibly be the girl with the dark hair and sad smile that had gained his interest with a simple look in his direction during their shared drama class? The same girl who is, technically, too young for him at 15? The girl who has caught the eye of his ex-best friend and now nemesis, Branson? The same girl who had somehow become best friends with his sister, Cas, in less than a day? One thing was for sure- She was driving him crazy. *~*~*
