Brandi is a small town girl who is frustrated with living the very reserved and conservative life she has been brought up to live. She decides to take a vacation to visit her friend, Angeline and get her perspective on her plans to change her life. While she's spending her two weeks out there some tragic and dangerous things take place at home leaving her no option but to start her life over. Now instead of being a single hard working Christian girl she is the scared to death mother of two small children, in a state she doesn't know, homeless and jobless. That is until Angeline brings her situation to the attention of her father and uncles. They help her get a job and a place to stay. The one problem? Brandi finds herself falling for one of her friends uncles. How will she hide it from Angeline and Joey? What would Joey think and what would happen if the media got wind of her Joey?
