(Set during the Hobbit: an unexpected journey) A young elf maiden accompanies Gandalf on his quest to help the dwarves of Erebor. The dwarf king naturally wants the she-elf gone despite his kin's infatuation. The woman refuses for personal reasons and her goodwill. Can he change his opinion about an entire race or will nothing change?

Lyra Lane is the last of her race the Skin-Walkers of Middle-Earth. Lord Elrond takes her in after learning her dark past and that she is alone in the world. He then asks her to join the Fellowship four years later. She accepts though some of them are wary of her. She keeps to herself mostly, only talking to a few. What happens when one shows he has feelings for the Skin-Walker? Will she accept and learn to love? Or will she leave him in the dirt heartbroken?

The Mountain belongs to the Dwarves, but things are not the way Almithara thought they would be. Thorin has changed and not in a good way. You could say Endor Baggins's life was the complete opposite of her uncle Bilbo's. Having grown up as the proper hobbit, with no "trouble in an adventurous spirit," she was highly praised by strangers and hobbits alike. This was a simple visit to a distant land, yet the journey made a second hobbit into legend. And thus, her story begins when she took her first true step, from the Shire to the Lonely Mountain, hobbits to dwarves, past to future, and loneliness to love.
