Psalm 95:7a - "For He is our God" Secularists and even many Christians view the God of the Bible as a powerful tyrant, bent on always getting His way. They believe that He is powerful, true, but there is no fondness or admiration in their eyes toward their Creator. They see only what they want to see, the negative aspects, and they refuse to look deeper into scripture to find out what He is truly like. Those of us with the courage to look beyond the point where others stop are met with a much different God. In a sense their is no way for us to describe God. He is far too great for us to even begin to wrap our minds around Him, and that's okay. It's enough to know that He is our God, and we are His people. He loves us deeply, deeper than any human could ever begin to imagine. He knows everything about us, and He holds us in the palm of His hand. He is your God. He is my God. He is our God. Highest Ranking #408 in Spiritual #7 in christianlit "Are you Happy?" is such a difficult question. I always say yes. Because I have friends, I laugh at jokes; I go out a lot and have fun. My life isn't as bad as it could be and I don't have terrible problems. It could be worse. Right? But then, one night at 3am when I'm alone, still awake, lying in bed, thinking about life, I find myself crying my heart out. I feel horrible and I question everything I had. I don't know if I was ever happy at all and yes, things just got worse. Jericho 'Ricky' Davis is your typical 'more-than-average' high school student at first glance. he seems to have it all; from friends to girls, popularity at school and even good grades. However, as his story unravels, we learn that Ricky is struggling with a broken relationship with his father, an aunt at the verge of death and a life that just might fall apart. After all, everything is not what it seems This is not some sappy romance story. There is no promise of a happily ever after. Yes there will be a lot of eye rolling and provocation and yes you might be force-fed a bowlful of aggravating emotions but please try your hardest not to hunt me down and strangle me afterwards. Thank you :)

David is ten and a half years old when he becomes the de facto family shepherd and he's twelve when a man called Agent Samuel declares David will be the next ruler of Israel. One of those things seems more likely to happen than the other, even with the strange man's reassurances, and David's not surprised when it turns out to be the sheepherding side of things. Initially, at least. However, time passes. Years pass. David becomes President Saul's unofficial musical therapist, developing a close friendship with his son Jonathan--the man who should be ruler next. He defeats Goliath, the result of genetic experimenting done by the Philistines, with nothing more than a rock and a slingshot, and quickly becomes a beloved hero of Israel. And the more experience that David gets, the more that people become obsessed with him, the more he is willing to concede that maybe that Agent Samuel guy was onto something. He's not the only one who sees his rise in popularity, though; President Saul is keeping a close eye on him, too. A deadly eye. And it soon becomes evident that David will either live to see himself become President or a legend forever remembered as the man who defeated Goliath. CAVALIER is a modern day retelling of the early life of King David, from when he first becomes a shepherd to just before he becomes ruler over Israel. It is a Featured work in the Spiritual section.

We live in a world where Christianity is mistaken for a cult. As the second coming of Christ approaches, many are tested, many have failed on this journey and many are being recruited in God's army. God has started calling and is now choosing. Will the fewer chosen be among the fewest of the faithful? This is the story of Gray Mitchell. He is just but all of us before we knew Christ: a troublemaker, and a rebellious foul-mouthed individual. But what happens when God gives Him the encounter of a lifetime? He repents. But through his journey, many circumstances rain on his parade: persecutions, depression, tested friendships and more. This story is based on true to life events with a little sprinkle of fiction.

Hannah is nervous to start her freshman year at a new school, Thomas Edison High. As her school year begins, she finds out schoolwork is pretty challenging-not to mention her closest friend at school is beginning to be bullied by some mean students. She is also starting to be influenced by a new friend at Thomas Edison who encourages her to make some decisions she isn't so sure is right as a Christian girl, and meets Danny, a fellow student involved the school's drama production. Unsure of the decisions she should make and how to cope with all the bullying freshman year, she learns some valueable lessons in and out of school this new year, about who really are her best friends, always and no matter what. I'd like to thank @kirstenk923 for the wonderful cover she made for this story. Thank you so much, its beautiful! <3

It was January of 2014 and I'm now 16 so sorry if its a bit immature in the beginning. :)) Have a blessed day! ~Kayla
