Every night, at midnight, Zane must stow away and hunt for food in order to survive. When his brother, Jay, almost becomes his prey, Zane is shooed off and condemned to never see them again, including his brother. But Jay will not surrender to Cole, the team leader. He and green ninja Lloyd stow away every night and visit the teenage wolf. But when Cole decides to follow Jay and Lloyd, he doesn't like what he sees. He forces Lloyd and Jay to confinement, which is quickly betrayed by Kai. Will the rebellion bring their friend back into the team? If so, will Zane fight Cole and take his place as leader?
