After discovering the cause of the dragon raids in the Archipelago, Hiccup and Toothless slay the Red Death, but not before the young Haddock promises Astrid that he'll return one day stronger than ever before. It would take fifteen years for the young dragon rider to return, for he has been forged into a man, in a land called Persia, where he learns how to fight, lead armies/people, learn politics and other necessary skills. But during his time away from Berk, Hiccup makes powerful allies and enemies. An ancient evil is once again reawakened; demons called the Djinn. The Djinn have taken both man and dragons to increase their ranks to create an untouchable dark army, their leader Ghul, thirst for vengeance and darkness has consumed his reason, sense and conscience. Now Hiccup and a group of young men and women called 'The Inquisitors' are tasked to end the Djinn plague as it makes its way to the North... The Archipelago. Hiccup along with the Inquisitors and half of the imperial Persian army travel North, they must stop the Djinn in their tracks before they lay waste to humanity.

Hiccup ran away with Toothless and Astrid is the only one that knows everyone else thinks Hiccup was taken away by the Night Fury, just like Astrid told them. 2 years later and everyone is still a little sad about Hiccup but most have moved on, not Stoick. He's always keeping to himself, staying quiet, not eating or sleeping as much as he once did. He has fallen into a state of depression. Astrid just got back after a year of 'hunting the dragon that killed Hiccup' (really helping Hiccup build dragons edge and assembling a group of dragon riders) and is struggling keeping the secret about Hiccup still being alive. The only thing that is keeping her quiet is the thought of becoming a traitor to Berk and getting banished and her dragon Stormfly, a deadly nadder, being killed. A couple years after Astrid returns, things become normal again and Stoick starts coming out of his house more often. Everything is fine, that is until Astrid's Dragon Rider past catches up with her and threatens to spill all her secrets. This story is about how Berk deals with Hiccup disappearing and assumed dead, it'll normally be in Astrid's or Stoick's POV. Hiccup will be mentioned a lot and will be in a couple of chapters. Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III left Berk and never returned, but one day Hiccup sees a ship, a Berk Ship. He then realizes that they either must have never stopped looking for him or they're looking for the dragon island. He hasn't seen any of them in 16 years. His cousin, friend, father, HER, but he's worried that something bad is up with the Hairy Hooligans tribe. Now the only thing that is on his mind is to protect his tribe, dragon's and his daughter Uploads every Wednesday

- ORIGINAL VERSION - Hiccup Haddock was a child born on the village of Berk, then to be taken by a NightFury in a dragon raid without a trace. But while Stoick and Valka are trying to live while mourning for their lost son, Hiccup is living freely on a Santuarial island created by an Alpha dragon with his best friend, a dragon, the one who stole him, Toothless. Toothless has always told Hiccup that vikings are cruel, horrible people that kill dragons for the fun of it, and that he should stay as far away from them. But when Hiccup gets caught on a hostile, viking-dwelling island, he doesn't know what to do. The Chief's wife thinks it's unfair to torture a child like this, but when Stoick lays eyes on this boy, he has other plans. Will he and his dragon escape in time? Or will his parents soon find their lost son to be returned from the dead? [Original Version only means that there is a new edition, or rather; a Rewritten Copy, which is also in my works.]

Hiccup decides to run away from Berk without leaving any evidence. But to the village they think he was killed or kidnapped. The only one who knows the truth about his disappearance is Astrid. Hiccup and Toothless decide to go to different islands and convince them otherwise about dragons. When they come across an island it may change the course of their destiny forever. When the island goes up in flames Hiccup loses his only family and vows to avenge them.

As a baby hiccup was taken away from Berk for 20 years. No one apart from Stoick and Valka know he's missing or possibly dead or so they think. But when Astrid goes for a walk into the woods after a frustrating day maybe just maybe there is a glimmer of hope. But Berk has been receiving mutable attacks from the outcast, who are trying to find Stoick's weakness and take over Berk. When Alvin the leader of the outcast discovers Astrid's little secret maybe they have found something worth everything to Stoick and that may get them their victory.
