Until Bruno turns up at her work, dressed to the nines and the newly appointed CEO of the company she works for. But as the Pledge is reignited, life becomes a lot more dangerous for Blue and little Elijah - gone is the safety of a family and a house in the woods, and in its place are the harsh streets of London. The shadows are moving, the daemons are stirring, and Blue's hopes of a happy ending are dwindling...

Lilah is the plain, simple girl that no one notices. She's just another face in the crowd, nothing more. Her world is very different from the ones of her two best friends, which causes them to rarely see each other. So, they share a notebook. They write their feelings and their secrets in this notebook and it is only passed between them. Until Lilah loses it in the hallway. Reece is the school's bad boy, street fighter, and also the boy who finds Lilah's notebook. But Reece doesn't want to be nice and simply give the notebook back to her, not unless he gets something out of it. How far will Lilah go to get her notebook back? To her disappoint, however, she's given one without a choice. Skylar imagines a twenty-five year old who will be an obnoxious genius, but little does she know they're the same age. Meet Caleb Scott, a smart sweetheart. His mother is good friends with Mrs. Howard and asks her son if he'd be interested in tutoring her daughter. Caleb is up for the job, not minding the extra cash, and is curious on how it'll go. He imagines a ten year old girl who's struggling in her studies and needs a bit of help. But little does he know she's the same age and with a strong attitude. When they meet how will they react to each other? (Hey, you! If you're judging this book by its cover and title, you're already proving the point this story wants to make. Try to move past this satirical obstacle in front of you. This is a story about bullying, and like the hundreds of other books on the topic, it will show you the harsh reality of being discriminated, belittled, ridiculed for something you cannot control- how you look, who you love, or what you believe in. But unlike these books, this story's sole purpose is not to tear your heart out of your chest as you mourn over your loss of faith in humanity. Instead, this book will make you laugh and love alongside these characters. Just like in life, there will be moments of dread and surrender, but there will also be moments of happiness, laughter, and love. - Naomi Lorraine, better known as Nerdy Naomi with her thick-rimmed glasses and straight-A report card, is the most unpopular girl in her school. Even with the help of her sarcastic comebacks, that doesn't stop her from getting bullied by everyone in Dartwell High.
