Lauren Jauregui is a lot of things. She's caring, she's intelligent and she's beautiful. But Camila Cabello doesn't notice those things when she and Lauren first come into contact. Camila notices her nervous ticks, and how she refuses to look at her, and how she never furthers conversation. At first, Camila takes that the wrong way, and deciding that Lauren is nothing more than a rude girl who happens to have the same friends as her, eventually stops trying to make friends. Picture being a pillar under a heavy weighted object, like a house. There is so much weight on your shoulders, but you have to stand tall, standing your ground, otherwise the house will collapse. Then suddenly, imagine that weight being lifted off of your shoulders, gone. You're free, and maybe you ought to be dancing around happily, enjoying the newly found weightlessness. Instead, you fall to the ground, being a bearer of that weight for so long has damaged your foundation. So when that time comes, the time that you're free, instead of dancing, you instantaneously fall to the ground. Relief washing over you, tears of happiness, instead of all those tears of pain, the ground offering you comfort, letting you fall. For once you don't have to carry anything, you can truly be free of that weight on your shoulder because you know the ground is always under you, carrying your weight when you can't bear to carry your own anymore. She was both my weight and my ground. ---------------------------------------------- While on The X-Factor Camila is thrown into a group with four other girls. While they progress in the competition they bond as friends as well as a group becoming close friends in a matter of weeks. But what will she do when she begins to doubt her true feelings for one of her bandmates? Will she discover how she truly feels? And will those feelings be reciprocated?
