Azura Sloan Thompson is the middle child out of five children. Always the last one thought of and never paid much attention to, she goes through life feeling fat and invisible, even to her two best friends. Not that she is one for wanting the attention of others on her, at least nothing more than the occasional rude remark. She is perfectly fine being average and living her life without the popularity that most girls her age, mainly her best friend, Teagan, seem to admire. Her life seems to take it's first turn when she accepts the help of popular jock boy, Rendon Walters. But that is only the beginning.
