Forty years have gone by since the beginning of the Fourth Age. The time of peace is falling away as Orcs are attacking villages in Eryn Lasgalen and Gondor, killing aimlessly. Legolas receives a strange letter from Aragorn asking him to meet in Imladris. But something happens on the road and Legolas and his captain, Thaladir, discover something disturbing about the new enemy. Something that could take them, Aragorn, and others as far as the Mines of Moria. Please Note: This is an older work of mine and while I still love it dearly, the writing isn't the best, and it is slightly AU because I didn't know Tolkien lore when I started it. So please don't judge my writing on this fic. «»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«»«» Disclaimer: I do not own any of Tolkien's characters or places. Gerithor, a Dunedain ranger, has been a guardian of the West for many years, protecting it and keeping watch over the Shire. But when he receives word that his fellow Dunedain were attacked at Sarn Ford by Nine Riders, he hastens to Rivendell, where he receives a quest which will take him east of the Misty Mountains to defend the Free Peoples. In his new quest he will take up arms with characters old and new, including the Elven warrior Glorfindel and Gimli's father, Gloin, in a desperate bid to stand against Sauron as the Defenders of Middle Earth. Set twenty years after the events of the Lastborn, this is Gerithor's final epic adventure, and the fate of many rests on his shoulders. The new cover of this book is by @starsalight! She did a great job!

An account of the last days of the ElvenQueen. Lairiel of Lorien was a Telerian elleth, and guardian of the Valar's creation. A chance encounter, on a political exchange to Greenwood, has her fate entwined with that of the Great Forest - she chose Oropher's son. She is Thranduil's most beloved treasure, and the light of the people she so readily embraced. But, as Greenwood falls into darkness even the King and his Queen are not immune to the evil of Sauron. ***Note: I wrote this story ten years ago, and I'm keeping it very much to its original form and plot. Therefore this is not a Gundabad story, nor a dragon fire plot. It is not influenced by the hobbit movies. It was how I imagined the tragedy of the ElvenKing, and was my very first fanfiction*** ***Disclaimer: All recognisable characters belong to the master Tolkien. Without him we would never have had such wonderful freedom of imagination. Lairiel and Ellenya are my own beloved OCs, their stories do belong entirely to me.***

The days spent within the confines of a cage were perhaps some of the worst days that Beorn had ever known. Through a chance encounter of a fellow escaped prisoner, he has to slowly come to terms with perhaps not being the only skin-changer left. Though this has left him with many questions, he doesn't seem wholly able to voice them without Azog's cruel intrusions. When both skin-changers cross paths again, a plan to escape and a chance of freedom starts to stir and linger.
