WWE University's greatest competition is AEW University. The students who go here go back to the basics of professional wrestling. Lola Mendoza and her boyfriend, Dean Ambrose, are the first two attend both universities. Lola begins to notice a threat from WWE University at AEW University; she must find new allies in order to keep AEW going strong.

Many stories were told about the lives of the students at the original WWE University, but no one has heard of the sister university, WWE University: New England. With new transfer students from the original WWE University as well as many new students, it is time to focus on the NXT Gen.
