When the two go on a trip to New York City to bring release a thunderbird back to his home, a couple of the creatures accidentally get released into New York City. Now it's up to them, the Goldsteins Sisters, and a muggle named Jacob Kowalski to catch them all. But what happens when they hear news of an Obscurus in the "city that never sleeps"?

It's been a year since Newt Scamander and his young daughter, Emma Scamander, left New York City. But now there's a new danger: Credence is alive and Grindelwald is gaining followers.
