What if Ben Solo didn't die at the end of Episode IX: Rise of Skywalker? Here's what I think would happen. Spoilers. Duh.

"When are you going to realize you're bound to me?!" Kylo roared, his voice echoing from his mask. His words caught her off guard for a moment before she felt all the blood rush to her face at once. "I never signed up for any of it!" She screamed back angrily. Within seconds his voice invaded her mind. "Like hell you didn't!" Rey's eyes widened as Kylo ran towards her full speed ripping his helmet off, the rain soaking his hair and face. She gasped as his hand came around her and gripped the back of her neck, pulling her into an angry kiss. Shock radiated through her whole body, paralyzing her legs. She gripped his arms as they caged her, keeping her from escaping. "I'd be damned if I let you slip through my fingers again." ~*~Summary~*~ Set after the events of Episode VIII: The Last Jedi. Rey is sent by General Organa on an important mission to infiltrate the First Order from within, feed helpful information to the General and bring Ben Solo home. In order for the mission to succeed, Rey has to do something she never imagined herself doing. Take the hand of her enemy and join him by his side. ****Please keep in mind this is my first fan fiction and you will encounter errors/mistakes and misspelling. This story contains the original characters from TLJ as well as my own spin on some of them. (Meaning I actually gave the Knights of Ren personalities. 🤗)

(Takes place after the last Jedi! This will be focused mostly on Ben and Rey, and not much of the other characters, though I do love Finn. Enjoy!) Rey can see the light inside of Ben, he can see her darkness. Together they fight against the force, fight against rage that builds inside of them, and the light that forces them to see each other as they are. They are the balance of the force, they are the stop to all of this.

[WARNING SPOILER ALERT STAR WARS THE LAST JEDI] After the events in Star Wars: The Last Jedi Rey is determined to defeat the 'First Order' and save Kylo Ren but Kylo is also just as determined to destroy the rebels and turn Rey to the dark side so that they may rule the galaxy together. Rey is creating new friends and relationships with the rebels especially a fighter pilot 'Poe' and has finally found a sense of family and home within the rebellion but with the connection growing stronger between Kylo and Rey. Kylo finds out about her new found friends and the pilot that is slowly winning Rey's heart and her new found sense of home and comfort that he is motivates him further to destroy the rebells and take Rey. [Basically for everyone who watched Star Wars: The Last Jedi and needed more Reylo]

"Ben, BEN! Why are you doing this?" "I have to" "I see under the sheet of darkness that has fallen upon you, come back before it's too late!" "It already is too late. Goodbye, Rey." Then Rey felt herself fall into a deep, un-peaceful, and dark sleep. Kylo Ren slowly glided away from her unconscious form. A tear, although invisible from the rest of the universe underneath his mask, fell down his cheek. Kylo Ren left the scene of the massacre, where he had just murdered dozens of former fellow Jedi padawans, at the academy his uncle had established. He didn't look back, for he knew that if he did, he would totally break...he would be torn apart. Please note that this story STARTS in the time while Kylo Ren/Ben is at the Jedi Academy and that this story was written directly after The Force Awakens! It does not include ANY of TLJ or TROS canon, please be aware of this as you read. Also I wrote this like 3 or 4 years ago, excuse my grammar mistakes. Yes, I know they're there. No, I will not be fixing them, I'm too lazy for that.
