"Countless choices define our fate: each choice, each moment, a moment in the ripple of time. Enough ripples and you change the tide." The night has fallen. The walking shadows emerge to gorge on the only thing that keeps them living. Izabella Brighton is one of these shadows. Farrôn Crane never saw the world the way others did. To him, love is just a word people use until it loses its meaning. Life? A game where everyone plays for themselves. After being burned one too many times, Farrôn stopped believing anyone could ever truly care-not friends, not family, and especially not love interests. Trust is a luxury he can't afford. Then she shows up. Kaira Long-all bright eyes, bold dreams, and a heart full of hope. She's nothing like the others. She's not trying to fix him. She just sees him. And she offers something unexpected: a new way of seeing life. A journey worth taking. A future he never dared imagine. But the real question is: Can someone who's built walls so high ever learn to open the gate? Or will Farrôn push Kaira-and everything she offers-away before he even takes the first step?
