It started with a bet between two people who should have never been left alone together. Angelica Crushly eats, sleeps and breathes hockey. Since her father used to play for the Philadelphia Flyers and now is the coach, she didn't have much choice. He runs his team by a certain set of rules that all the players are expected to follow. The first and most important rule, Don't date my daughter! It was put in place for reasons that haunt Angelica's love life every day. A new player, Trey McLaferty, thinks he's above that rule. He believes he's above any rule, really. He loves a challenge and will stop at nothing to date the coach's daughter, the biggest challenge ever! So, he comes up with a bet, if he gets a hat trick in his next game, Angelica has to go out with him. With one bet Trey McLaferty tries to skate into Angelica's hockey heart. But not all ice is smooth......

The people who have read Ninja will just have a head start on getting to know the characters and the background story....although I, as the author, would be happy if you did read both.
