Sherlock is left crippled after the fall and Jim has minor brain damage (Mostly in the hippocampus) - both genius's after left alone after the their companions leave them for new adventures, the two are forced to seek solace else whether, eventually finding it in each other.

James never needed to feel. Never wanted to. But even so, he got lonely. It's hard to think and plan when you need company, but he hates everyone. Just one minute. One minute to feel desired, to feel loved. That's all he needed.

Everything seems to go start going wrong for Jim once his French teacher, Ms Hudson, leaves and is replaced with a new, handsome, young man who goes by Mr Holmes. Or maybe, just maybe, things were going to go very right in a completely wrong and messed up kind of way. Who knows?
