Author: Jevaunie Patterson Poetry Type: [Narrative Poetry] Book Status: [In-completed] Book Editing: [In-completed] This book showcases my life though murders, suicides and deaths (I support none of those things). This book examines some events that might be uncomfortable to read by a certain set of readers because of my unfiltered portrayal of these events. This poetry novel carries raw emotions that the poet felt as a result of some of the events that were accruing in his life. This book is just a collection of some of the hardships I have been though in life. Hope you can relate to any of the pieces of my work. "If we were so riveted in the spectrum of nature, why did we stand, petrified, as we became corrupted by idle technology, stupefied by glowing screens, stolen from life as we know it from enemies right under our noses? Why did we relent to this obvious threat when we did have the capability to change, and prevent our peaceful hierarchy from being razed? It was the consequence of this stupidity that condemned us all to slaves, servants of a towering race of robots and data." The year 2096. Robots rule the world. Their grip seemed impenetrable, the extent of their control unknown by the humans. Society is blinded by the splendour and wealth of all the technology. "We live in mere fear, unable to access any computerised knowledge for fear of being discovered. We're convicted to the old ways of living, our specialists abilities unable to be used. It puts a very ironic twist on the definition of being free." COMPLETED --

Love-Loss-Let Go (The three L's) A documentation of my experience with heartbreak that started off as one of the best loving relationships that I had ever been in, then it turned out otherwise. This poetry novel carries themes such as resentment, growth, sadness, love, hate, anger and loss. I started documenting my relationship with my ex-lover when we both came to a unfortunate end and went separate ways. This novel can help you get through hard times (relationship wise) and help you get through a saddening break up. This novel carries raw truthful emotions that were withheld over a period of time that came out through poems.
