~~Sequel to The Hidden Truth~~ (HIATUS) It all went to hell, didn't it? The Speaker betrayed us, betrayed the Guardians, and broke his promise of safety and prosperity within our walls. There are Guardians who remained loyal to him and the City, and vowed to protect the Traveler at any cost. And there are Guardians who fled, many looking to fight the Tower, some looking for freedom from our walls, and a handful without so much of a clue as to where to go next. Our fireteam, Hidden Power, was among this group. And I'm starting to wonder if we're going to regret this later down the line. Zero keeps saying they're just going to pick us off if we don't act. But we're moving into enemy territory now. The Ishtar Sink, home of the Vex, and apparently ours too, now. The Future War Cult keeps insisting that we'll do okay here. We're supposed to be immortal, after all. How much longer will that last? The Reef offered to help us out. They send us supplies every so often. That's not too bad. But the Exo Stranger's gone. Left without a trace, or even a name to remember her by. So what's left to do? We destroyed our home with no way of coming back. Our best odds are taking the fight back to the Tower, the Speaker, and maybe even the Traveler. So that's what we'll do, at least until someone comes up with a better idea. Hopefully, but I'm not optimistic. (Semi-hiatus. I update when I can. I'm finishing this book dammit) ~~~ I don't own Destiny, but this plot and most OCs are mine. And without further ado, I hope you enjoy :)

I have power. A lot of it. I can't control half of them and the ones that I can control are practically useless in the position I'm in. Some think I'm dangerous, they could be right, I don't know. I have never really used my powers. I really don't know anything when it comes to my powers, but I do know one thing... I have powers to spare. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I suck at writing these things but if you read the first chapter, you can see more of what it will be like.

Forgive and forget. Those two words that she will never do because she can't and won’t. Rebekah Mathis was overweight, nerdy, and bullied by her pack. She was 16 when she was rejected by the alpha, the player, her mate - Ashton Clark. After the rejection, she ran away and found a new pack that would accept her and love her. Three years later, she came back because of a mission, and she didn't come back as the weak girl she was before. This isn't your average rejection because she's not planning on taking him back. The Elder Dragons are an old race, as old as the magic that permeates this world. They are the oldest of races and in the times of fire and lava at the formation of this world, they were there, and they developed hard scales, harder than diamond, and wings to fly above the fire and death in the burning world below. Then the fire went and the lava cooled, and the Earth was still. And the Elders remained. The ice spread from the north, coating the Earth in frost, and the Elders developed fire as a way to remind themselves of their beginnings and keep warm on the merciless ice. Then, as the seasons of the earth changed and the humans came from the trees and built on the land, the Elders developed their ability to change into these new creatures and back into their true selves at will. Some split off at this point, becoming dumber and cruder, and lost the title of Elder. As the humans became smarter and were able to wield the magic of this world, the Darkest of all, the darkness without a name, came unto this world, and the Elders met their match. In the first time in millennia the Elder Dragons were afraid. They were driven to near extinction, until they retreated from this earth, and flew away, lost, leaving their cousins, the dragons, behind. But one remains. She doesn't know the secrets of her race, the secrets of the world she finds herself in. All she knows is that she is different. -------------------------------------------------- Harry Potter based fanfic introducing a new character (her POV) from book 3 and seeing where it takes the story. Incomplete. Sporadic updates (sorry) Bit of humor, bit of drama, no romance so far. Thanks for reading this :)
