Jack, a merman living in Ireland, sits alone on the coasts and wonders to himself if there are any other mermen and mermaids out there. One day, Jack finds something that leads him into a tangle of a mess and is brought to a laboratory where they research aquatic life. There, Jack meets a scientist named Mark Fischbach who is interested in learning more about his kind. But as he and Jack bond, a relationship between them blossoms and they find themselves stuck between science and love.

From the moment Jack crossed over into Skyrim, he has had nothing but a string of bad luck. Mistaken for a stormcloak soldier. Attacked by a dragon. Now the people are calling him, 'Dragonborn?' Dan Howell is the Panther. He's evil, nefarious, ingenious, and good at coming up with adjectives for himself. The Raven is a nuisance, but he's definitely the most fun part when it comes to being a villain. As a child, Dan had been scared of his powers. He'd been weak. He'd become strong, though. Strong enough to torment the city; strong enough to annoy the Raven with every opportunity he got. Phil Lester only had one goal these days. To become strong enough to defeat the Panther. Dan is different. He's learned to accept that. Well, as best he can anyway, considering he's never really had much of a choice. It's been this way for as long as he can remember, the constant runaround process of trying to feel normal. His life is built around it, trying to trick both himself and everyone he interacts with into seeing him as your average person. The isolation as he desperately tries to keep others from finding out, the bitterness that wells up inside of him each and every time he's reminded that he'll never be like everyone else, the fear that nothing will ever change. He's fated to be this way forever; a misfit from society. Isolation can only go so far though, so when he's struggling to make ends meet and he's faced with the option of looking into a serious job or taking on a roommate, he opts for what seems like the easier option at the time. It doesn't seem so easy ten failed roommates into the process, or when he sits down at a table to meet with prospect number eleven and ends up with a coffee spilled all over his lap. Potential roommate number eleven, Phil, turns out to be an insufferable optimistic ball of sunshine that Dan wants nothing to do with. His options are running out though, as are the savings he's been using to pay his rent, so he finds himself begrudgingly agreeing to let the other man move in. Neither of them have any way of knowing just what they've gotten themselves into as they shake on the matter, but time will tell.

He's living alone in a small apartment and works every day at the Starbucks down the street. He's short and insecure, but has a passion for art. But he's had a past of horrible relationships and now lives with a marijuana-smoking man-whore named Felix. Jack is living under horrible circumstances, but Felix keeps the wool pulled over his eyes with promises of protection from others. Mark lives in a frat house with some of the most intimidating guys on campus, but in reality, they're all goofy gamer guys that just so happen to love heavy metal and piercings. Jack and Mark met one day in July during a heavy metal concert; not under the best circumstances, but it sends them both into a spell of quixotry that will last for the rest of their lives. (WARNING - this book discusses sensitive topics such as: Physical abuse, sexual abuse, emotional abuse, substance abuse (drugs, alcohol, and cigarettes), severe anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.)

"I was still conscious, although I wished I wasn't..." A story of how someone considered as a green-haired freak comes across the only other person he's been able to be friends with, a guy that we actually can't really call human... I finally got to work on my story-idea when I realised I could write while on the train to uni and back home :) So, this is it! It's situated in the 19th century mostly, but it isn't really mentioned in the story itself. I'll probably add my own drawings as a cover (Done!) Feel free to comment your feedback! I want to improve, but that's only possible when I hear about the flaws from you guys. Jack is a prince in a Kingdom nestled in the mountains, and he is well acquainted with his people and his life. However, he's definitely not ready to take over his term as the King yet. There's too much that he hasn't done yet, and even with the other Kingdom he's supposed to ally with his own through marriage growing frustrated and restless with their weapons, Jack refuses; girls aren't really his type anyway. Mark is a solider for the King's army, and has been all his life. He is aware that the other kingdom is ready for war, and he is going to be the one to fight them. Even so, his general assigns him the role of persuading the prince into marriage by protecting him as he does what he wants, but always reminding him of his duties - an order that Mark ignores. Only after they start spending time with each other do both men realize they found themselves in a situation much more than they bargained for.

"Jack, what word would you use to describe our relationship?" Jack paused, thinking about his misfortunate life prior to the happy accident of meeting Mark. A grin spread across his face as he found the perfect word. "Serendipity."
