At the age of 17 each child will take a test to determine their future. This test will be mandatory to all people and will not go incomplete. If such is to happen and The Test is incomplete the child will be killed.
The Test will determine a child's spouse, occupation, and living quarters.
After the test determines an occupation, that child will study for a year in order to learn the expectations of this occupation. Until that year in school students will learn everything and will never get behind. If a student does not arrive at school the case will be investigated and later consequences will be assigned.
The spouse will be decided by age, compatibility, and occupation. A child may not be assigned a spouse immediately out of the test. If this happens they will be put on a list for five years. If they are never matched they will be sent to a home with others who were not matched and carry on with normal life.
The living quarters will be determined by occupation. All workers for an occupation will live in the same township for that state. After being assigned these living quarters there is limited visitation with family members and other aquantensences. Before the age of seventeen the child will have permission to have "friendships" but in limited quantities.
Any book, magazine, or other forms of anything not proven fact is to be burned. If a person if found with such items they are sentenced to death immediately. No kind of outburst is accepted after the age of ten if such happens the child is to be killed. The proper forms of speaking are to be taught and memorized. Speaking out of place has severe consequences
