Oh God, I hated him. Luke Hemmings. He thought he could sing, he always messed with me. We were basically enemies to say the least. It didn't help when he introduced his weirdo friends into the scene. Oh gosh, I still remember some of the stunts they tried to pull. Ash made it better. He was probably my only friend, and he understood me. He slayed the drums, and he may or may not have given me butterflies. Like all the time. Unfortunately, someone else gave me butterflies. I hated it, but I was faced with a decision. One that would literally tear me apart.

Tara Krueger has a past filled with dysfunction and grief, and she absolutely hates the new band, 5 Seconds of Summer. Her best friends, however, are completely obsessed with them. Tara's best friends, Hannah Johnson and Kim Dallas, would do anything to meet the 5sos boys, whereas Tara has absolutely no interest in them. However, when Tara is accidentally acquainted with the boys, they will have an adventure unlike any other. Will the heart throb lead singer, Luke Hemmings, help Tara to forget her horrendous past, or is she too convinced that he is an arrogant, egotistical jerk? Will Luke be fooled by Tara's flimsy facade of strength, or will he break through her walls to discover the real her?
