And she has no plan on backing out now to do everything to have him back... even as a friend... even if it hurts. She is back. Maine is back. And it took Alden four years to convince himself that he is waiting for no one, and he wants nothing but to stay that way. And he has no plan on stepping back now to do everything to move on over her... even as a friend... even if it hurts. Disclaimer: Just borrowing the names of Maine Mendoza and Alden Richards. This is in AU (Alternate Universe) fanfiction. And just like my previous 'short story', I need to make them older to make them more mature.
