Young love is a lot more than just chemicals inside your head, it's a lot more than just having a petty crush on a hot guy that sits in front of you, young love is the start of emotions; the beginning of learning how to love. Might be a lil cringe as I never intended for this to become my first full on phanfiction, regardless I hope you enjoy.

Phil was just a regular school boy, until he came out of the closet. Nobody wanted to ever talk to him, or ever come near him. But then there was a new boy who came into town. He actually wanted to talk to Phil. Day by day, Phil couldn't help but slowly fall in love with those brown eyes.

Dan is the popular kid at his school. He can have any girl he wants. But then Phil started in his class and everything changed. Now he doesn't want any girl. He wants Phil. But it's tough hiding that you're in love. And it's tough when jealousy takes over. Will they make it?

Dan is a firm believer that love doesn't exist. Not in adults, and definitely not in high school. He detests silly love stories and petty relationships, posing as 'love', and nothing could possibly change his mind in that. But when new student Phil takes an intrest in Dan, he can't deny that he's interested in the boy. His bubbly personality and hopeless romantic ways draw Dan in.....and might just change his mind in the thoughts of love.

Dan Howell has terrible night terrors that don't seem to be subsiding, but when his parents send him off to college in hopes that things get better for him, things only sadly, get horribly worse. *This fic is so cringe worthy. It's a huge mess. It also contains suicidal actions, alcohol abuse, bipolar disorder, guns, death, drugs, emotional abuse, and just lots of triggers so if you're sensitive to things like this, please find a better fic to read that is suitable for you and or read at your own risk.
