Peace,
I woke up this morning at peace
When who I was yesterday and where I was going began to turn me into pieces
Peace!
Please, take anything from me,
But don't try to take my sunshine
Here we are!
The rhythms of peace,
Has imprisoned the eyes of our land
Men has been butchered, scattered under the umbrella and broom of Change
We are blind to see peace
But been blind does not mean we are deaf to hear the cry of innocent souls
Though, they are innumerable,
Their sprinkled blood on our streets
Smell everyday we pass by
Where are thou,
O! you peace?
Is it in the heart of those who neither know love nor truth,
Those who eat the flesh of innocent myopic bodies,
And drink their bloods for refreshment?
Maybe, in the hut of the Shekaus' in the North,
Who makes bombing their communal day-to-day activities
Playing to the tune of thousands of death daily
Forgetting that these souls are the microcosm of this macrocosm
Is it in that so called Hos
