Hohenhiem leaves, allowing the Father to move in on his unprotected family. The Father has a sit down with Trisha Elric, Hohenhiem's wife, and proceeds to lie right to her face. The Father states that him and Hohenhiem are twins, Hohenhiem being the oldest. He explains how he's been searching for his long lost "twin," and found himself in the Elric residence. Trisha welcomes the Father into the family with open arms. Not once hesitating, the Father introduces his "children" to her sons, Edward and Alphonse. The Father teaches the Elric Brothers Alchemy and other talents he felt fit. AU where Ed and Al have known the Homunculi their whole lives. Ed has manners and talents no one has ever known, and Al is an expert at hiding secrets and feelings.

Ed becomes a homunculus but realizes it much later. It won't be much, just a few short/snippets here and there as Ed, Al and co realize Ed's a Homunculus. I got inspired by 2003's Wrath. Don't know why in most such stories Ed's character makes a full 180 when he's turned. It frustrates me, so I'm having none of this here! Hope I manage to finish this with all the exams coming....
